QMI Team: Georgia Spence

Administrative Manager

As Administrative Manager of QMI/Visual-Lean® Institute, Georgia Spence is responsible for the daily operations of the office, including procurement, supervision of staff, and contract and license administration. She serves on QMI’s Executive Team and frequently assists Dr. Galsworth with special projects.

Before joining QMI in January 2005, Georgia spent four years at Christenson Electric, working for the vice-president of Finance and the Human Resources manager. Prior to that, she had a 26-year career with the State of Oregon. During that time, she was Executive Officer of the Physical Therapist Licensing Board, a position she held for 12 years. She also worked in several departments of the Oregon State Health Division, as well as the Oregon Attorney General’s Office.

Outside of the office, Georgia enjoys getting together with family and friends. She and her partner, Tom, spend their summer vacations traveling to visit family in Oregon and Washington State. Georgia also enjoys movies, shopping, visiting museums, and visiting the Oregon Coast.

Georgia is the driving force behind the excellent administrative systems at QMI. We are grateful to have her on board.
