QMI Team: Leslie Carver

Special Projects

Leslie Carter

Leslie joined the QMI team in October 2006, just in the nick of time to help administer the avalanche of work we experienced then and now as QMI and the Visual-Lean® Institute grow.

Since joining QMI, she has taken charge of Special Projects, including helping Dr. Galsworth design and detail QMI’s PowerPoint products, and designing and executing booths and exhibits for conferences. Newly crowned our “Dongle Diva,” Leslie is in invaluable member of QMI’s administrative team.

Prior to joining QMI, Leslie was the executive assistant for a general contractor working on community construction projects. She also used her considerable administrative abilities for a law firm specializing in employment law. Leslie has a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in music. She won the Margaret Schwartz Music Prize for “outstanding performance in music,” largely as a result of her soprano solo in the Bach Magnificat.

Leslie is currently a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Chancel Choir. Originally from upstate New York, she moved to Portland, Oregon in 1996, where she met and married her husband. They have two beautiful children.
