The Ten Doorways into a Visual Workplace helps us understand and achieve enterprise-wide visuality.

Each doorway is linked to a different group of employees. Each group owns and opens a specific doorway and develops a distinct category of visual outcome or function—a given Visual Workplace Technology.

Using the Ten Doorways as a guide, the organization can ensure that everyone in the enterprise—all members of the workforce—gets directly involved in asking and visually answering the need-to-know/need-to-share questions, from the viewpoint of the individual “I”. As Dr. Galsworth says: I-Driven.
